Anytime someone is "on top", there will always be a counter-culture sentiment. Google+ is just getting the attention because of it's weight and potential. However, Google+ is all potential now and really needs to keep introducing updates and features to get the non-techies involved. The non-techies, like independents in US elections, are the key to making a real run at establishing at least a viable option to Facebook if not a future leader.
